Our Bag-in-Box pouches are built from a fully PE-based 120 micron coextrusion, designed to the RecyClass guidelines for flexible PE film. Because the EVOH oxygen barrier sits between the polyethylene layers, the bag carries no laminating adhesive and belongs in the mono-PE stream. The Vitop Uno tap is the state-of-the-art solution for Bag-in-Box. Remove the tap after use and the bag itself is fully recyclable in the PE stream, with tap and box each going their own way.
